Moodle, an open-source learning management system, is widely used by schools, universities, non-profit organizations, and companies to meet their education and training needs. With its core team at Moodle HQ working closely with over 1000 developers, as well as a growing community of authorized partners, developers, system administrators, educators, and students, Moodle constantly improves its platform through the development of new features, bug fixes, and the sharing of resources and ideas.
The upcoming release of Moodle 4.3, scheduled for October 9, is anticipated to bring more than 300 bug fixes, improvements, and new features. One notable feature is the “In Course” communication option, which aims to enhance collaboration. The release will also include a matrix messaging system that facilitates smoother integration with other messaging systems like Slack and Teams.
