Various preparations are underway ahead of the main event of the 2023 ESPORTS PRESIDENT’S CUP

Head of Community Relations and Communications at the Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PB ESI), Debora Imanuella, along with several other key figures in the esports industry, expressed their readiness for the Main Event round of the Esports President’s Cup 2023. The tournament, which focuses on bringing together both amateur and professional players to showcase their skills, will take place on October 21-22 at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Jakarta.

The Esports President’s Cup is not only aimed at fostering the growth of esports in Indonesia but also at providing opportunities for new talent to emerge in the industry. Debora Imanuella highlighted the role of the tournament in the regeneration of athletes in Indonesia, stating that it plays a critical role in the development and progress of esports in the country. She emphasized the importance of supporting the regeneration process to produce talented esports players who can achieve success in international tournaments in the future.

Rangga Danu Prasetyo, Chairman of the Esports President’s Cup 2023 Organizing Committee, mentioned that this year’s tournament will feature a greater number of local games compared to previous editions. He expressed pride in working with local game developers and hoped that the Esports President’s Cup could contribute to making local games dominant in the domestic market.

Athletes participating in the tournament also expressed their excitement and motivation. Denis Haris Prayogo, from the Lokapala team Mahadeva, thanked the tournament organizers for featuring the Lokapala game once again. He expressed his team’s determination to win the championship this year.

Yosi “Ucupbadmann” Prameista, an athlete from the Battle of Guardians team, expressed his eagerness to compete in the Main Event and hoped to bring home the championship. He mentioned that the presence of Battle of Guardians in the tournament provides an opportunity for fans and the community to experience the competitive atmosphere of Fighting Games.

The Main Event of the 2023 Esports President’s Cup will be held at Tennis Indoor Senayan on October 21-22. Several branches of esports, including Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), Lokapala, and Battle of the Guardians, will be featured in the tournament. The total prize money for the event amounts to IDR 2 billion, making it one of the most prestigious esports tournaments in Indonesia.

In addition to the esports matches, various activities and opportunities to play games together with the Great Ambassador for the 2023 Esports President’s Cup, Angie Marcheria, will be provided to engage attendees and enhance the overall experience of the event.
