These are the routes and graves that will be visited by thousands of participants exploring the 78th anniversary of Central Lombok

Central Lombok Regency in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) will be celebrating its 78th anniversary on October 15, 2023. To commemorate this special occasion, the local government has organized a series of activities for the public.

One of the main events is the Trekking Mount Rinjani on the Aik Berik route. Participants will embark on an exciting journey to explore the beautiful landscape of Mount Rinjani. Additionally, there will be a launch event for the 78th Anniversary Logo and Theme, a Car Free Night, Livoli Events, Central Lombok Pataka Carnival, and even a MotoGP Event in 2023.

The highlight of the celebration will be the Central Lombok 78th Anniversary Ceremony, which will be held with grandeur and pride. Various dignitaries and officials will attend the ceremony, including the Regent of Central Lombok, H. Lalu Pathul Bahri. In addition, there will be a Mandalika Expo, Fashion On The Street Public Walk and OPD, e-Sports Competition (Mobile Legend), Sinova League Cup Presentation, Tastura Awards, and a concert by the renowned band Dewa 19.

One of the most significant activities during the celebration is the Tour and Pilgrimage to Graves throughout Lombok Island. Led by the Regent of Central Lombok, H. Lalu Pathul Bahri, more than 2500 participants from various community elements will take part in this pilgrimage. The participants will include representatives from Kepala Dusun (Kadus), Kepala Lingkungan (Kaling), Head of the Village (Kades), Sub-district officials, and other government officials.

During the tour, every Kadus and Kaling will ride an official motorcycle. The route will include visits to several important graves. These include the TGH Najamudin or Muhajirin grave and the Tomb of TGH Lalu Faisal or the Perbawe Tomb in Kota Praya, Central Lombok. Participants will also visit the Tomb of Waliyullah TGH Lalu Muh Saleh, known as Tuan Guru Lopan/Datok Lopan or Ketak Tomb in Monggas Village, Kopang District, Central Lombok.

From there, the tour will continue to the Tomb of the National Hero Maulana Syaikh TGKH Muhammad Zainudin Abdul Majid, located at Pondok Pesantren Nahdlatul Wathan, Pancor Village, Selong District, East Lombok. The participants will cross several highways, including the Semparu – Janapria – Beleke market intersection highway and the Ganti – East Lombok Keruak highway.

The journey will also include visits to the Mausoleum of King Selaparang in Selaparang Village, Suela District, East Lombok, and the Camp Site at Sembalun Tourism, East Lombok. Participants will spend the night in Sembalun, sleeping in tents and enjoying friendly events and entertainment.

On Sunday morning, the participants will proceed to the Bayan Ancient Mosque in Bayan Village, Bayan District, North Lombok Regency. The tour will then move to Maulana Syech Gavz Abdurrazak’s Mausoleum or Loang Baloq’s Mausoleum in Tanjung Karang Village, Sekarbele District, Mataram City. Finally, the participants will make a pilgrimage to TGH Moch Shaleh Hambali Tomb in Bengkel, West Lombok.
