Evan Lanell Wae, the chairman of Ganjar Muda Indonesia (GMI), who organized the event, explained that the participants had been selected since October 3, 2023. The final match of the tournament took place today at Lot 28 in Kota Semarang, with 32 teams participating.

“We have both amateurs and professionals participating, and they require a platform to showcase their skills. Additionally, we also wanted to provide an opportunity for participants to get to know Mr. Ganjar Pranowo more closely. Currently, he is among the top 32 players,” stated Evan Lanell Wae, the General Manager of GMI.

This MLBB e-sports tournament is the second of its kind organized by GMI, with the previous event taking place in Jakarta. The increasing trend of e-sports inspired the chairman to recognize its potential in nurturing talented Indonesian e-sports athletes.
