Sidrap Esports Participates in Mobile Legend and PUBGM Tournaments throughout Indonesia

Sidrap Esports, the team representing Korpri Sidrap, recently took part in the ASN Esports Tournament to celebrate the 52nd Anniversary of Korpri. Competing against numerous teams from all over Indonesia, Sidrap Esports came out on top during the first qualifying round on Saturday, April 11, 2023.

Led by players Adli Lukman, Aditya Darmanto, Andi Ifdhal, Ahmad Dagri, Awaluddin Hasan, Muhammad Yusran, and Fajri, the team achieved a remarkable 2-0 victory against the ARG team. Adli Lukman, on behalf of his teammates, expressed his excitement, stating, “Korpri Sidrap’s team participated in the esports tournament organized by Korpri Indonesia and won the first game. There are still a few more games to go before the final event in Jakarta.”

Andi Faisal Ranggong, the Chairman of Korpri Sidrap, extended his support and appreciation to the Sidrap Esports team for their participation in the tournament. Additionally, the Head of the Regional Planning, Research and Development Agency (Beppelitbanda) Sidrap expressed the hope that the team would deliver an exceptional performance.

The tournament, organized by the National Corps Management, witnessed the participation of hundreds of teams representing ministries, institutions, regional, district, and city governments. The event aimed to break the MURI Esports record for the highest number of ASNs (Civil Servants). Mobile Legends and PUBG Mobile were the two esports titles contested during the tournament.

The committee will provide certificates, trophies, and cash prizes to the first and second place winners in both Mobile Legends and PUBG Mobile categories. The award presentation will take place during the culmination of Korpri’s 52nd anniversary event on November 29, 2023.

Apart from commemorating Korpri’s anniversary, the tournament also serves as a platform for fostering friendship among Korpri members and promoting interest in electronic sports or esports.
