Each year a variety of activities are included, usually starting with foot and kayak races in the morning. Local historian Terry Holt , the author of The Island City, makes the Hillside Cemetery come alive with his knowledge. The latest innovations in the aquaculture industry are explained through a slide presentation.

Musical entertainment fills the air. Local mystery writer, Sarah Graves, may be autographing her latest book at Fountain Books. Be sure to get a program of events so that you don't miss anything. A program can also be found in the latest edition of the local semimonthly newspaper, The Quoddy Tides.
