More than 7,500 members of the community and Honda motorcycle enthusiasts gathered in Bandar Lampung and Pontianak to celebrate Honda Bikers Day in the Sumatra and Kalimantan Region on September 30. This event, organized by PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM), aims to promote togetherness and strong brotherhood among Honda motorcycle communities.
Following the successful events in Sumatra and Kalimantan, the Regional HBD will be held in Tomohon, North Sulawesi on October 7. This regional series is a collaboration between AHM and Honda dealerships across Indonesia, providing a platform for cyclists to come together and celebrate their passion for Honda motorcycles on each island.
The enthusiasm of the cyclists during the regional HBD will reach its peak at the National HBD event in Rampal, Malang, at the end of this month. It will also coincide with the celebration of Youth Pledge Day on October 28, 2023.
The Sumatra Regional HBD attracted 5,030 community members and Honda motorcycle enthusiasts. With the theme “Bersama Makna” (Together with Meaning), the event included activities such as Assembly and Community Declaration, Exhibition of Modification and Honda Products, Music Festival, Band Competition, Game Challenge, Cheap Service, Food & Beverage Festival, Exhibition Booth, and prizes.
In Kalimantan, the HBD event held at Qubu Resort in Pontianak saw the participation of thousands of members from various Honda motorcycle communities. The event was organized by the West Borneo Honda Community and was attended by three other Honda Community Associations, including the Central Kalimantan Honda Motorcycle Association, the Samarinda Motorcycle Association, and the Balikpapan Honda Association.
The Kalimantan Regional HBD Series 2023 is a collaboration between AHM and Honda dealerships in the region, including Astra Motor West Kalimantan, Astra Motor East Kalimantan 1, Astra Motor East Kalimantan 2, and Trio Motor – South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan. The event featured activities that fostered solidarity and brotherhood among the cyclists, such as Mobile Driver’s License Services, blood donation activities, Zumba workouts, RC Competitions, and Sharing Moments Together.
Participants and visitors were treated to various booths offering special promotions for Honda motorcycles and accessories. There were also opportunities for test riding, as well as contests and games like Mobile Legend Contest, Honda Riding Trainer, Photo Contest, and Playstation Contest.
Lukas Ferinata, the Regional Head of Astra Motor West Kalimantan, expressed his hopes that the HBD event would strengthen the unity of Honda motorcycle enthusiasts and contribute to driving safety in the country.
