32 Teams Participated in the Mobile Legend e-Sports Tournament in Sanga Desa District

SANGA VILLAGE, HARIANMUBA.COM – A total of 32 teams took part in the Mobile Legend e-Sports Tournament held last Saturday (7/10/2023).

The event, sponsored by cellular providers Tri and Indosat, was held at the Sanga Desa District Sports Hall (Gor).

Based on media reporters’ observations, the event venue was packed with young participants who showed great enthusiasm for the 5 vs 5 MOBA matches displayed on the screens provided by AJK.

Boywan Adi Candra SPd, one of the members of the organizing committee, stated that the purpose of the tournament was to nurture the talents of young people in the field of e-sports in Sanga Desa District.

“Our primary goal is to develop the e-sports talents of young people in Sanga Desa District. Additionally, we aim to keep them away from drug abuse as these tournament activities provide a more productive use of their time,” he said.

He further explained that registration for the tournament was open from September 17 to October 7, 2023.

“We are pleased to see the high enthusiasm of participants. Even with the limited 32 slots, we received more registration requests than we could accommodate. The prize pool for this tournament is IDR 3,050,000,” he added. (ren)
